Do you have a favourite tree?

Did you have a favourite tree as a kid? One you climbed or leant against or spoke to?

How about as an adult? Is there a tree you look to as the seasons change? Do you still collect conkers? Do you place your palm on the bark and wonder at the hundreds of different plants and animals that call this tree home?

Here at Joyful Nature, our very own Bunny (Dr Susan) Warren has been working with a group called Lestari and The Tree Council to explore the meaning that trees have in people’s lives. Especially “Trees Outside of Woodlands”.

They spoke with artists, poets, authors, and researchers and have collated all these words and images into a brilliant, online ‘flipbook’.

You can find the book on The Tree Council’s website here.

Please share the joy!
